Attorney At Law
Nishad Khan, Esq. is a Central Florida based real estate attorney and business attorney and is a Florida Bar Board Certified Specialist in Real Estate law. Over the course of his career, he has represented thousands of clients in all types of real estate transactions.
Mr. Khan is a certified instructor of the Florida Realtor® Association, and a seasoned speaker and instructor for several real estate organizations throughout the state of Florida. More than a real estate lawyer, Mr. Khan is also a licensed real estate broker, giving him an insider’s perspective into all states of the process. He has taught hundreds of classes on topics such as real estate contracts and real estate law fundamentals to thousands of students.
In 2007, he started his law firm, NISHAD KHAN P.L., and leads a dedicated team of attorneys and analysts. His firm is well known for its business acumen, real estate prowess, and deep understanding of the revenant laws governing its areas of expertise.
With over 17 years of experience in Real Estate Law, Mr. Khan has represented buyers and sellers in all aspects of residential and commercial real estate transactions, including entity formation, contract and corporate agreement preparation, debt structuring, equity investments, due diligence, and closings.
Utilizing his knowledge of the Florida real estate market, Mr. Khan provides clients with accurate, up-to-date information to help them make sound decisions concerning their real estate transactions. Additionally, his knowledge of financing, taxes, titles, and surveys coupled with his proven negotiation skills advantage his clients in every aspect of any real estate transaction. Some of his notable transactions have included a $24 million re-development of agricultural land and a $15 million real estate transaction tied to Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
The boutique nature of his operation allows Mr. Khan to focus on each client matter with the effort and attention to detail it deserves. He works hand-in-hand with his diligently selected team of attorneys to bring best of class service to each client at all times.
In addition, Mr. Khan is also the founder and visionary of TICON TITLE, a forward-thinking real estate title company with a compelling competitive advantage focused on a frictionless transaction process from the moment the listing agreement is signed till a buyer walks through the door of their new home.
Personal
Nishad is licensed to practice in the State of Florida, and is a member of The Florida Bar Association, The American Bar Association, and The Orange County Bar Association. He is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Civil Circuit Mediator and was selected as the 2012-2013 Fellow of the Real Property Probate and Trust Section of the Florida Bar. Nishad holds board positions on the Central Florida Real Estate Attorney’s Council and is President of the Florida Literacy Coalition, a state organization that promotes Adult Literacy.
Nishad is also a title agent for Old Republic National Title Insurance. Finally, Nishad is a member of the Ninth Circuit Advisory Team for Attorneys Title Insurance Company (The FUND), a member of the advisory committee for Attorney At Law Magazine, and a frequent speaker for the Orlando Regional Realtor Association, as well as many other real estate related organizations. As a long time resident of Orlando, Nishad also enjoys spending time on the local bike trails and playing basketball or playing squash. When not practicing law, Nishad enjoys spending time with his wife Yasmeen and his children.
